Il modello è ispirato alla fortunata serie animata Futurama ideata da Matt Groening; comprende l’edificio della Planet Express e la celeberrima nave spaziale che riesce a stare perfettamente all’interno dell’hangar.
Ci sono anche le minifigure dei personaggi che compongono l’equipaggio dell’impresa di spedizioni spaziale: Fry, Bender, Leela, Amy, il professor Farnsworth, Hermes, Nibbler, Zoidberg e Scruffy.
